COST ACCOUNTANT Location: Dubai Apply for this role

General Summary of Position

    The cost accountant position is accountable for the ongoing analysis of process constraints, target costing projects, margin analysis, and tracing costs back to underlying activities. The cost accountant must also construct and monitor those cost-effective data accumulation systems needed to provide an appropriate level of costing information to management. Also responsible for Cost Accounting, which involves analyzing financial data, obtained through evaluation, to determine the cost of business products and services. Responsible for performing rate calculations, and for product and cost estimates. Comparing actual cost to estimates and identifying reasons for variances. Providing management with detailed reports for use in making business decisions and controlling expenditures. General Summary of position

    Improves a company’s production and distribution processes. Ensures the production and distribution of products runs smoothly.

    Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Plans and prepares production schedules for manufacture of industrial or commercial products: Draws up master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders.

    General Summary of Position
